Maumee Valley Whiskey Society Members, this is your exclusive chance to pre-order our Name Sake Whiskey.
This barrel spent its first 11 years and 8 months destined for the Little Book Program at James P Beam Distilling. Luckily for us, it didn't quite meet the flavor profile they were targeting. The pick team sampled six different barrels before selecting this one, which was then transferred to Adventure Spirits Distilling. It spent the next four months resting in a pair of 15-gallon barrels to round out the flavors. Originally ~121 proof, this whiskey drinks best at its final proof of 114.
